Soltec and TSE Join Forces for the Launch of Agrivoltaics in France

Tracking algorithms developed by Soltec will help optimize TSE’s agrivoltaic systems
With this project, Soltec enters the French market for the first time

Soltec, a vertically integrated company dedicated to the manufacturing of solar tracking solutions worldwide, has signed a strategic partnership with TSE, a key player in the field of agrivoltaics in France, for the co-development of agrivoltaic products aimed at the French market.

Soltec has extensive experience and advanced technology in the solar sector. TSE has developed a unique expertise in agrivoltaics systems through its agricultural canopies. Through this strategic collaboration with TSE, the Spanish company is expanding its presence in France. Soltec has developed several algorithms for the global agrivoltaics market. Now, the partnership between the two companies will focus on co-development exclusively for the French market.

This alliance will allow Soltec and TSE to combine their innovation and expertise to create solutions tailored to the specific needs of French agriculture. In this way, Soltec adds France to the list of countries in which it operates. These algorithms will enable TSE to manage part of its power plants governed by specific French regulatory issues and requirements, further improving agricultural yields.

Mathieu Debonnet, President of TSE, stated: “TSE is delighted to have found such an experienced and reliable partner as Soltec. The high quality of their solar trackers, combined with our technology, will allow us to develop even more efficient solutions tailored to the specific needs of French agriculture.”

“For us, it is a pleasure to collaborate with a company like TSE to continue developing solar tracking algorithms and advancing our innovation in sustainable projects, such as agrivoltaics. We hope this will be one of many agreements that help us continue developing our technology in agrivoltaic systems,” explained Eduardo de San Nicolás, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of Soltec.

A Key Collaboration for Europe

Soltec’s arrival in France comes at a crucial time when Europe is seeking to strengthen its energy autonomy. This partnership with TSE not only enhances Soltec’s presence in the European market but also supports TSE’s strategic approach of working with European partners.

Soltec continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and energy sovereignty. This collaboration will allow the Spanish company to further differentiate itself in the European market, positioning itself as a leader in innovation and efficiency in the solar sector. In this way, Soltec continues to lead the way in solar tracking through advanced solutions that support the growth and efficiency of agrivoltaics, not only in France but throughout Europe.
