Soltec reaffirms its position as the third largest supplier of solar trackers worldwide

• A report published by IHS Markit places the Spanish manufacturer in third place in the global ranking and as the leading firm in Latin America, having shipped 9.2% of the world’s total number of solar trackers in 2019
• These figures show an increase of 1.3% over the previous year and are equivalent to 2910 MW of equipment
• The company consolidates its leadership as one of the most relevant firms in the renewable energy sector worldwide and as a key player in the achievement of the objectives of the energy transition

Madrid, 24 June 2020. Soltec, a leading company in the manufacture and supply of solar single-axis trackers belonging to Soltec Power Holdings, consolidates its leadership position as the third largest supplier of solar trackers worldwide, according to its recent ‘Global PV tracker report – 2020’ published by the information provider IHS Markit. Soltec has supplied 9.2% of the world’s total number of trackers during 2019, which is equivalent to 2910 MW of equipment for solar plants worldwide and an increase of 1.3% over the previous year. In this way, the company is in third place worldwide in 2019 and holds this same position in the accumulated supply of all active manufacturers. Likewise, the data in the report reflect that Soltec is the first company in Latin America in the supply of solar trackers in this region.

The number of projects carried out during the past year 2019 has allowed Soltec to achieve its objectives for this period. Furthermore, the company continues to work on many projects located in key markets for the PV solar industry.
